A Wayne County Office of Legislative Auditor General (OAG) that strives to become a world-class internal audit organization, that is valued throughout the County of Wayne.
Valued by the Wayne County Commission and decision makers both elected and appointed and relied on to provide accurate, complete and timely audits, reviews and other work products to assist in their oversight and operational responsibilities, respectively. Also valued by citizens, users of the County’s services and externally reported financial statements and reports. An Office of Legislative Auditor General, which also strives to be trusted to issue fair, balanced and unbiased reports, analyses, and other products, which accurately reflects the results of audits, reviews and all work performed.
